What if I don’t have insurance/my insurance plan is out-of-network?

If you do not have in-network health insurance, or are uninsured, you will select “Out-of-Pocket” during registration. You will be asked to pay $60 per flu vaccine and $200 per COVID vaccine up front, unless your school or employer has agreed to cover the cost of your immunization(s). To avoid any fees, out-of-network patients are encouraged to receive their vaccinations from an in-network provider if school or employer sponsorship is unavailable at the SVNA clinic.

Which health insurance plans do you accept?

Accepted Answer

SVNA is in-network with most major health insurance plans except Cigna, and certain out-of-state Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. If you have in-network health insurance, you must provide that information during registration. We will then bill your insurance plan for your immunization(s) following the clinic and you will not incur any out-of-pocket fees. If you have questions about insurance, we encourage you to email us at info@seattlevna.com prior to registering for your appointment.

Are there any age requirements?

SVNA is licensed to provide flu vaccines to all individuals ages 4 years and older and COVID vaccines to all individuals ages 5 years and older. Age 5-11 COVID vaccines are available at school clinics only, unless agreed upon with the SVNA team.

How do I make an appointment?

Accepted Answer

You will be sent a unique registration link from your school or employer where you may schedule an appointment at your specific clinic. Appointments are available for scheduling in 15-minute increments during clinic hours. All patients will receive a confirmation email and a text message reminder for their appointment.

What happens if I miss my appointment? Can I cancel or reschedule?

If you cannot make your appointment, or miss your appointment, please cancel or reschedule via the confirmation email sent at the time of registration.

Question 6

Can I bring family members or other people with me for my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Family members and friends are welcome to accompany you to your appointment, but they will not receive an immunization unless they are registered themselves. All patients receiving an immunization must meet eligibility requirements and have their own separate registration in their name, with their information. Please inquire with your school or employer if family and friends are permitted to receive vaccinations at your designated on-site clinic.

What do I need to have with me for my appointment?

For expedited service, please bring your unique confirmation code (included in your confirmation email), insurance card, and ID to your appointment. Please wear short-sleeved clothing as privacy screens are not included.

Which vaccines do you provide?

Accepted Answer

At our 2026 clinics, we will provide the seasonal Flucelvax Trivalent Preservative-Free flu vaccine and the 2026-2027 Moderna COVID vaccine (pending FDA and CDC approval). We do not offer the Flumist Nasal Spray flu vaccine or the Fluzone High-Dose flu vaccine, nor do we offer Pfizer or Novavax COVID vaccine products.

Can you provide verification of the vaccination given?

For official proof of your flu vaccination, please email us at info@seattlevna.com and we will send you a Certificate of Immunization. For official proof of your COVID vaccine, please visit waverify.doh.wa.gov and/or myirmobile.com.
